Pan and the Prinsoners of Bolvangar

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: Phillip Pullman
ª

Pan is the courageous daemon of a young girl called Lyra Belecqua. Together they have undertaken many adventures, but know they are facing the hardest challenge of their life. There are kidnapped and are taken to a mysterious station of Bolvangar in the frozen North. Here they meet other abducted children and their daemons. They once again see Lyra’s good friend Roger and unfortunately they come across Lyra’s mother. The place does not seem all that bad but when Pan and Lyra discover the horrifying truth about these ‘harmless’ experiments at this horrible hostile, they realise they must get out as fast as they can or face a fate worse than death.
