Babe: Pig in the City

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: Dick King Smith
ª

The farm is in danger. They must save the farm. That is what Babe and Mrs Hoggett must do after Farmer Hoggett is injured and the bank is trying to take over the farm. When they find out that Babe can earn money by going to the state fair they head off immediately. But Babe and Mrs Hoggett are destined to get into serious trouble or misfortune. First they miss their connection flight and they get stranded in the city – the city is definitely no place for a pig, especially a sheep pig. Then Mrs Hoggett and Babe go to an animal hotel where their suitcase gets stolen and then Babe gets lost. But Babe is no ordinary pig. He meets some city animals with problems bigger than his and is soon trying to help them. The only question is that can a pack of dogs, a gang of monkeys, a choir of cats and Babe the sheep pig really make a difference?
