Wind in the Willows

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: Kenneth Grahame

This is a timeless tale about animals with human traits and it is an enchanting read for the whole family to enjoy. The main characters are charming: the sleepy Badger, the lively Ratty, the wealthy and very irresponsible Mr Toad and the hard working Mole. This hard working mole makes new friends in the Wild Wood – a place which he thought was so terrifying. One day Mole and his friends are blown away by a speeding car and Toad decides to steal one but he gets caught and is sentenced to 20 years in prison. He escapes and manages to join Mole, Ratty and Badger on the river bank. They tell him that Toad Hall has been captured and taken over by some nasty weasels…
