This story is about a handsome prince who wants to marry the Emperor’s daughter but she will not. Any other girl would have said yes but she said no. Then the prince decided to send her a rose from a special rose tree and his nightingale which sang a song so sweet it could make you cry. But she let the bird go and did not like the rose because it was real. But the prince would not give up so easily thus he put on some rags and made his face very dirty and asked the king if he would let him work for His Royal Highness – he got a job as a swineherd and a little room next to the pigsty.
