They had powers to drive away happiness from one person and if they perform the deadly kiss one's soul will be sucked out.There was also a staff appointment- Remus Lupin with whom Harry soon developed a special attachment.Lupin who taught 'defence aginst dark arts' agreed Harry to teach him how to fight Dementors.Evenwith all these protections Black entered Gryffindor dormitory.Also Rubeus Hagrid who had been promoted as Care for magical creatures teacher was also in trouble due to his Hippogrif named Buckbeak.During their first class Buckbeak attacked Draco Malfoy who teased him inspite of Hagrid's warning.Lucius,Draco's father was all for the execution of Buckbeak and Hagrid lost the case.Also at London Hermione bought cat as pet named crookshanks and Ron was most unhappy because his rat, scabbers was getting weak due to fear.At last the execution day of Buckbeak came and Harry who had been presented by the very admirable Marauder's map from Fred and George take a look at the map to snnek upto Hagrid's and comfort him at this difficult situation.while minister and executioner arrived Harry,Hermione and Ron hide in back garden where Buckbak was tied and scabbers tried for an escape and Ron who caught was captured by a great black Dog and was taken into a tunnel at the bottom of whoomping willow.Harry and Ron folowed and found Sirius Black faicng him at the shrieking shack at the end of tunnel.He was the black dog (he was an animagus-can take the form of a particular animal at will)Harry in one of his illegal hogsmaede trip with aid of invisibility cloak and marauder's map heard his teachers talking that Black was great friend of his father and it was he who betrayed them to death by informing about their hiding place to DarkLord.Harry was very angry to ee black and a fight broke out and Harry was at the point of killing Black when Lupin join the scene and to their surprise embraced Black.Black told that he was innocent and actually their another friend
peter petigrew who was also an animagus (who can turn to rat) betrayed Hary's parents and also faked his own daeth after killing muggles in the city and Black was arrested for it.
petigrew was scabbers and Black was going to avenge him now.Lupin agreed to Black and make Harry to see the sense by telling that Marauder's map never lies.Severus snape who had been enemies with James potter and Sirius' gang from school arrived the scene and wanted to catch Black and handover him to ministry.Harry and friends overpower him too and Harry who told his Father's friends not to kill petigrew and hand him over to ministry.He led them back to castle.Dementors attacked them and Lupin who was a werewolf saw full moon, transformed and ran into the forest.Dementors was about to kiss Black when a powerful patronus saved them all.They were all hospitalised and Black was about to be killed as snape who was back to senses brought him to castle.Dumbledore visited them at hospital and told them to rescue Black and Buckbeak with the help of timeturner and they did so without much harm and it was Harry himself who saved them all with his powerful stag patronus.Sirius was on the run again with buckbeak and send Harry a letter that he was safe.Also sirius the Godfather of Harry grant hi permission to visit the village of Hogsmeade.
