Canadian Sites and Symbols Quebec

Book Review   by:Innereye     Original Author: Rennay Craats

Quebec City is the capital of Quebec, the largest province in Canada. It is known as a World Heritage Site and is the only walled city in North America. After Paris (France), Montreal is the second largest French-speaking city in the world. All public signs in Quebec are written in French and English. The sentence "Je me souviens" on car plates, which means I remember is a motto that's meant to remind French Canadians to remember their French heritage and preserve their culture.

Copper, Iron and Gold are important minerals in Quebec. Quebec is known to be the second producer of gold in Canada.

The book also talks about the animals, endangered species, national parks, historic parks and everything there is to know about Quebec. Lots of colorful pictures and a quiz.
