The Medusa Project Series

Book Review   by:Megzio     Original Author: Sophie McKenzie
ª

Sophie McKenzie, the multi award-winning teenage author wrote a thrilling series of six books called the Medusa Project and a World Book Day book in between books two and three. She brings the supernatural and paranormal into the world we live in today so we can relate to the characters.
I have read all of the Medusa Project books and I read all seven of them in five days because they were so gripping - I couldn't put it down! There were shocking twists all the way through and with a different character narrating in each book, it all begins to make sense.
Sophie McKenzie excels at writing action - this is no lie! I was on the edge of my bed and my heart was pounding as I took the journey with the four main characters. When you read the books, you think to yourself: 'How can this get any better?' But trust me - it does!
Nico, Ketty, Ed and Dylan are the teenagers who make up The Medusa Project, each owing their special abilities to a genius scientist who discovered a genetic code - a gene for psychic abilities. All of the characters have different characteristics which have all developed differently in each of the children to create their psychic abilities. As everyone reacts differently to situations it gets them into a lot of trouble. Dylan is very headstrong and does things at her own will without caring what the consequences would be; Ed is very trusting meaning he can sometimes lead the four teenagers into the clutches of the criminals trying to kill them or use them for their abilities; Nico is however very untrusting meaning he can infuriate people he comes along on missions creating more chaos and trouble than needed; and Ketty is the quiet and shy one who doesn't cause any trouble but is used as bait when people are in trouble.
If you are currently wondering what books to read I definitely recommend reading these.

(I apologise if this review is bad - it's my first one)
