No, David!

Book Review   by:Jenni S     Original Author: David Shannon
ª

No, David! is a Caldecott Honor book by children's author David Shannon. David Shannon lives in New York City, and continues to make and illustrate children's books, such as Duck on a Bike and A Bad Case of Stripes. The Caldecott Honor is given to the best illustrated children's book every year. A picture is worth a thousand words, and that is exemplified by this story. The book is written at an emergent reader's level so that a young child can read it on its own, but the pictures tell the true story. David is a small child who is constantly in trouble. He plays with his food, tracks mud in the house, makes too much noise and even picks his nose! The colorful illustrates will make children laugh, and the ending of the story will make you smile.
