The 2nd book in the series of the Edge Chronicles, Stormchaser. On the front of the book the illustrations
really show a
picture of the book, the sky pirates, Twig and the goblins. In the book goblins come up a lot and are popular creatures in the Edgelands. The book flows
really well and has a really nice spirit, as you read this book you think perhaps the book could be a bit shorter or there could be a bit more going on not just one storyline.
There are many characters in the book that I haven’t introduced especially if you have read my first abstract beyond the deep woods and you might be wondering who they are so I will explain them know. Twig lives with the sky pirates of whom one is his
father and that is were 50% of the story takes place. Twig himself was abandoned by these sky pirates then was adopted in the Deep Woods. Then he went out exploring at the end of his journey Twig found his lost father. The Caterbird is one of Twig’s friends and this bird helps Twig survive when he is in danger. Anything else you don’t understand you’ll have to buy the book.
The main outline of the story is about a boy called Twig who comes to Undertown with his lost father. Twig hears the caterbirds tale and wants to go to save the floating city of Scantaphrax from a storm. With Stormphrax, which is found from a storm the sky pirates and the Professor of Light go to this storm
that will hit the Twighlight woods to find stormphrax.
This book doesn’t have many weak points expect perhaps the story could speed up a bit and not stay motionless.
