on his 11th birthday.He also happens to know that his parents who were also magical was killed by the most feared Darkwizard of the age
Lord Voldemort.This Darklord lost his powers when he turned to kill the infant Harry and for all this 11 years he is a bodyless ghostlikeself.Harry is now supposed to join the
school of magic -'' HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY'' .In school he finds friends- Ronald weasley and Hermione Granger are the best.While schoolyear progresses DarkLord is also progressing towards his return as immortal.For that he need '' The Philosopher''s stone'' which produces the ''elixer'' of life and turns any metal to Gold.The stone was invented by Albus Dumbledore & Nicholas Flamel.Dumbledore,the headmaster of Hogwarts foresee Darklord''splan and keep the stone under tight security.Darklord uses a
teacher at Hogwarts to stole the stone but Dumbledore''s brain prevented him because he magicked it so that those who seek the stone for not to use could only get it.This meant for Harry and on Darklord''s order Quirrell (above said teacher) to kill Harry & get the stone.Harry fights him and in end Quirrell dies and Darklord flees to his hiding place.Thus Harry saved the stone and showed that he is a real hero.
