rabbit hops by saying he is late for an important date. Alice chases the rabbit down a rabbit hole. She finds herself
having strange adventures such as changing sizes when she eats some mushroom and having tea with a Mad Hatter. She ends up playing croquet with the bad tempered Queen of Hearts who is always saying, "off with her head. Throughout the story there is some lovely poetry.
