“The Famous Five – Five on A Treasure
Island” by Enid Blyton
A quiet usual summer vacation turns into a thrilling
holiday for Julian, Dick, little Anne together with their cousin Georgina and her dog Tim. While the parents had planned to go to Scotland, they first drove the children to Kirrin Bay to stay with Uncle Quentin and Aunt Fanny. At the beginning “George”, who disliked being a girl, showed a cold attitude to her family members, soon changed to a warm and friendly relationship. The five explored a small
island with an old castle on it, believing ingots were hidden there. The youngsters were dreaming of getting rich with gold and therefore were trying to find them in the underground dungeons. All by themselves having smart ideas to light their way and some luck too lead an exciting adventure.
