The funny
thing is, this is the first book in the series. It may not have been writen first but I found it was very good. the
main characters Digory and Polly had never entered the wardrode at all. they visited another land where they
meet the
evil witch, that''s featured in the second book. ( The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe)
This is how it all began, the two have no
idea about the witch at all. Since she''s also a
giant, which by the way is the main point why I didn''t like the film all that much.
Anyway, Digory''s Uncle Andrew has this crazy idea that he''s a wizard and sends the two into a weird and twisted world the they meet up with a giant witch.
They innovertedly release her into their world not knowing a thing about her since she''s charming everyone up. But in the end, they learn that she''s really evil and send her off on her way. She ends up in Narnia and begins her evil plan to dominate it any way she could.
I found it interesting and the simple book did open my eyes, after I read all the books I learned that C. S Lewis and Tolkien were friends. They would meet up in a bar and help each other in small ways.
I rather not give the book away since it''s just a great read, I give it two thumbs up and 9 out of ten stars.
