Berta is another girl who acts like a boy just like George, Jo and Henry but a bit different because she doesn’t want her golden curls to be cut. She shortens her name to Bert now and again but is secretly hiding in disguise in Kirrin Cottage from kidnappers which makes jealousy for down on George. This
book is quite good but I have read better Enid Blyton books before. I like the way George has so many ‘twins’ in a way and at the end they become friends where as at the beginning she treats them as enemies. I think that is pure brilliance. 8/ 10 is the rating I would give it.
