I sat down on a chair, put my feet up on my otterman as I lifted the latest book so I could read. Opening the cover, I turned
to the first page. A thin smile was on my face as I began to read.
The
beginning of the book starts off with the Pevensive children, though I thought it kind of silly at the time. the children are together and on a train when they are transported back to the land of Narnia, for some unknown reason. Upon their return, they find them selves on an island and have no idea where they are. In their adventure so far they make friends with a dwarf.
In another part of that world, a young man a prince learns that a the stories of old of talking animals and dreams to become a better King than his
uncle, who has closed his mind to such things and consinders them to be stories and nothing more,Capian runs away and to find the Kings and Queens of long ago. Only to find him self on an adventure that he had never thought possible. At this stage I was enjoying it all too much, I was reading like a madman.
I poured my self into the book, discovering that the landscape had changed and that the uncle was really a madman that was trying to forget about the past. He hated the idea that animals could talk and dismissed them with a wave of his hand. ''not in book''.
He''s the bad guy of the story with is kind of good since it made sence to me.
Once the Prince found the four, he had no idea of who they were. Susan and her family had to prove that they were the Kings and Queens of old Narnia of which helped to convince him. I enjoyed it from beginning to end, as most people know it is a childrens book but it was a light read what I wanted at the time.
Most of the time I do read adult books but every once in a while, I rather be pulled into a book for a day or two before I commit myself to a hard book. Prince Caspian is a delightful read from beginning to end and I highly reconmend it for any one, for any adult or child.
