The Reluctant Dragon

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Kenneth Grahame
Kenneth Grahame (recognise his name from somewhere ) is a Scottish writer, born in 1859, who lived with his grandma from
when he was little near the River Thames where he spent most of his time. ‘The Reluctant Dragon’ was published only ten years before his big hit – the Wind and the Willows (that’s where you probably remember him from) which is now a great classic. This story is about a little boy (who is called Boy) and his friendship with the infamous dragon that lives in a cave on the hills near where the sheep graze. The rating that I would give this book is a five or six out of ten.
