From seed to plant

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Gail Gibbons
This book explains the process it takes for a little seed to turn into a massive tree or a little delicate flower. Both ways
it takes along time and is very complicated but this book simplifies it a bit. It describes the parts of a flower and there functions like a pod or a fruit. The book explains that pods and flowers help protect the seed as it grows bigger and bigger. This book is educational and it helped me with my science homework once and the pictures really help with the explaining of the life cycle of a plant. I would rate this book 7/ 10 and I would recommend it to Upper KS2 children (aged 9 – 11).
