This book is part of a series
called ‘Puppy Tales’. In this sequence, there are three more stories that are exciting (No.
1 Puppy’s Wild Time, No. 2 Puppy’s beach adventure and no. 4 Puppy’s
field day so this one is no. 3). I have also reviewed Puppy’s Field Day so keep an eye open for it. The plot of the story is that Nick and Susan, Puppy’s owners, take him to school on Pet Day. Unfortunately, he gets in a tangle with two other dogs, one that is a kind and friendly Pekinese from China
called Change and a big mean bully bulldog called Terror! However, there was a terrible dilemma so can Puppy come to the rescue of the poor lambs, goats and pigs? I enjoyed this book so I am rating it 8/ 10. I recommend it to 6 – 8 year olds. Well Done Gerald Durrell!
