Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Walt Disney
Snow White is beautiful, she has hair as black as ebony wood, lips as red as a rose and skin as white as snow – everyone
thought her beautiful including her evil step mother. Her step mother was also very beautiful but very vain unlike her kind and pretty step daughter. She was so self-absorbed that she had a magic mirror which she asked every day who was the most gorgeous of them all; she always knew the answer would be ‘You, Oh Queen, are the fairest of them all’ until one day the reply was not at all the same… This book is just a short retelling of the movie. Instead of being a two hour long movie it is a short and sweet 43 page long book with only three or four sentences on each page. It has all the same characters and events and even the title of my favourite song is mentioned! A brilliant book by the wonderful Walt Disney Company! Rating: I would give it 8/ 10. Recommendation: anyone who enjoyed the movie lots. Criticism: maybe it should have credited the real author of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - Suzanne Weyn, a famous children’s author.
