The Tower in HoHo Wood

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Enid Blyton
This is a really exciting collection of (mainly) enjoyable stories (although a few were really quite boring) written by Enid
Blyton. The majority of these tremendous tales are thrilling but the others I nearly fell asleep while reading. Author: Enid Blyton is the famous author of Famous Five, Secret Seven, The Enchanted Wood and lots of other great stories. Many of her writings are collections. Do you know who wrote Noddy? Enid Blyton, of course! Criticism: Enid Blyton has repeated words too often. She has used most of the proper nouns (names of places, people’s names, etc.) two or three times like Ho Ho was used as a name of a creature and a place! This is rather confusing because you lose the story line at those points. Rating: I would rate it 6/ 10. Recommendation: Children who like adventures and are aged 6 – 8.
