This book is jam packed with
funny/ sad/ hopeful /silly poems which I really like. My favourite poem is funny and it goes
like this: ‘Tread on a leaf and you’ll
marry a thief. Tread on a slug and you’ll marry a thug. Tread on a straw and you’ll marry a bore. Tread on your lace and you’ll fall on your face!’ I think that Steve Turner did a great job on this book. The illustrations were good as well – well done David Mostyn. Rating: I would positively rate it 7/ 10. Recommendation: I would without doubt recommend it to all kids of all ages.
