This book is part of a series called ‘Puppy Tales’. In this sequence, there are three more stories that are exciting (No.
3 Puppy’s Pet Day, No. 2 Puppy’s beach adventure and no. 4 Puppy’s field day so this one is no.1). I have also reviewed Puppy’s Field Day and Puppy’s Pet Day so keep an eye open for them.
The plot is Puppy visits the zoo for the very first time and meets some quarrelling birds who are all beautiful, an enormous elephant, a gigantically tall giraffe, a mean lion and a nasty tiger, a friendly monkey and lots of other creatures.
I enjoyed this book so I am rating it 8/ 10. I recommend it to 6 – 8 year olds.
