dog in this story is called Buttons. He got his name in the
second chapter even though he is introduced in the second paragraph! He is a
little puppy but he is the one that changed Phillip’s life. Phillip is a young, lonely boy who is
deaf – he can’t
hear anything. He got Buttons as a Christmas present and this little dog’s adventures lead to helping those who cannot hear…
Linda Yeatman has written this wonderful story that is a delightful little tale to be enjoyed by all children and adults alike. I would rate it 8/ 10 and guess what - I helped a special
