Jack and the Beanstalk

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Jeff Capel
Jack and the Beanstalk is a famous tale which, after a while, can get boring for grown ups. Children might not be able to
read a lot of the words or comprehend the story well. So, this book comes with a great CD so you can listen to the story and read it or follow along with it. The man who tells the story on the CD speaks clearly and emphasizes on what needs to be emphasized. I think it was a brilliant idea to have a CD with this book because the story itself is for young children who might struggle on reading some words (my 5-year-old brother did) like ‘suspiciously’, ‘disappeared’ and ‘immediately’. My brother found it very helpful and pleasurable to have a CD accompanying the book. You can also get other famous stories, like Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood and many other well-known and -loved fairy tales, with a CD.
