‘Winnie the Pooh’s Thinking Spot’ is a series of books about things around us, i.e. how plants grow, animal sounds,
night and day, etc. The books are written for a young
child but this book is not suitable for one. It is about
evaporation. I didn’t learn about it until last year and I am nearly 11 – they really expect a young child to understand anything about evaporation? Some of the subjects are ok but some are ridiculous – evaporation, nocturnal animals, buoyancy (I don’t even know what that is)! Yeah, the activity makes the subject easier but still – absurd! This book is about where puddles go and why they get smaller.
