The story: Emily is a
spider and everyone thinks that, like her 99 brothers and sisters, she is normal but she is far from normal as a spider; she is a lot faster than all the other spider children and it is to do with her strange number of legs…
About the author: Dick King Smith is a famous children’s author who writes mainly terrific tales about animals. He is the creator of Babe the Gallant pig, which has been turned into a movie, Dick King Smith lives on a farm in Gloucestershire and has been writing since 1978. When I am older I wish to research and study his work, maybe do a PhD on it, hopefully, because he is one of my favourite authors.
