A. H. Benjamin has written this lovely
book about how everyone is good at something – it doesn’t
matter if they are
big or small, fat or thin; it doesn’t matter about their religion or their race; it doesn’t matter about the colour of their skin or hair or eyes; it really doesn’t matter.
This book is about a duck, called Duffy, who gets teased about his size by all the other ducks who are big. He goes round trying to find out what he can do: he can’t dive and catch fish like a kingfisher, he can’t make holes like a woodpecker and he can’t do a lot of other things that other birds can; finally, there is a problem. Will Duffy be the hero of the day? Find out in this great book…
I would rate this book 7/10 and I would strongly recommend it to children and adults.
