Lizzie, Pam and Tony are the kids at the House at the Corner and everything changes; soon their own auntie doesn’t know who they are! The family is changing a lot after disaster strikes! ‘House at the Corner’ is a not-so-famous Enid Blyton story. It is a paperback book and it is suitable for older children aged 8 – 11 who enjoy adventurous tales. Enid Blyton has written well known books like The famous Five, The Secret Seven, Noddy and Malory Towers which are all series’ but she has also written books like ‘Mr Galliano’s Circus’, ‘The Queen Elizabeth Family’, ‘Welcome, Josie, Click and Bun!’ and of course ‘House at the Corner’ (this one) which aren’t. I actually liked this book because it is about a different subject to most of Blyton. I would rate it 6/10 because it is better Blyton but only a bit.
