Father Christmas has a very
hard job: delivery
presents to all the children, doesn’t he? Well, he needs a holiday after all this hard work and he
goes and gets ready for one. He turns his sleigh into a caravan and takes a few reindeer to pull it. First, he
decides to go to France but then wants to go somewhere hotter; then, he goes to Scotland but still thinks it is far too cold and decides to go somewhere else. But where? Find out in this great book…
Raymond Briggs has
written this lovely book, has made it funny, witty and has written a little poem to teach us to be grateful for Father Christmas and be thankful for presents.
I would definitely rate this
book 7/ 10 and would strongly recommend it to young
children although the author uses ‘bloomin’’ a lot and children might start using it at school or at home.
