Bold Little Tiger

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Ladybird

Little Tiger always said something when he woke up in the morning; what he would say was: ‘I’m tall and I’m tough.

I’m growly and gruff.’ because that was what he thought that he was – he thought he was tall and tough, so he set off in search of adventure. After a while, when he discovered two tiny cubs trapped on a mountain ledge, he found his chance to prove himself…

This book is great for little kids: the text is short and simple; the vocabulary range is good for children 4 – 6; the pictures are bright, colourful, large and eye catching; last but not least, the story line is interesting, enjoyable and has a message: ‘your size doesn’t matter, sometimes being small is helpful’.
