Magnus Powermouse Book Review

This is a story for older kids because Dick King-Smith uses elaborate language to show his various animal and human characters. Madelaine, the warm-hearted country girl (mouse) and she learned Marcus Aureleus and this very unusual child of theirs (Magnus) who is different from all the other baby mice. The cause of this was something his mother ate and something that, after all the food for Magnus had finished, he also ate and carried on getting a very big size for a mouse and even a rat!

The only mian bad thing about this book is that you cannot really tell if the author, Dick King-Smith, is talking about humans or mice – that was something that really confused towards the start of this book.
