The shilling was very happy to go out into the world, and it really went far away. A gentleman, who was about to travel in foreign lands, was not aware that the shilling lay in his purse when he started. After many weeks, the shilling had travelled a long distance, without having seen anything of the places where it had been. Since it was curious, it slipped out of the purse, and into the pocket of the trousers, and that is why it fell on the floor. It was found after a while, and it was pleased, for it thought it was going to see the world now. But the shilling was disappointed, for everybody thought it was a false shilling, until a traveller examined it, and said it was a a coin from from his own country, he said he would take it home to his own house. Then the shilling was feeling happy again.
