The little boy in the story has a big brother called Jonathan and a big sister called Miranda; he hates being
the youngest because the other two tease him and have done everything before he has. Robin (he is the little boy) lives down the road from the sea and he finds a magnificent, and may be even a little bit magical, shell which he calls ‘Freedom of the Seas’…
This book is very good. It is not really for my age group but I still really enjoyed reading the story. The title is sort of mysterious and, at the same time, quite good because it does not give the whole story away (I thought it was about a bird).
