Meet Lewis Carroll’s most famous little character – Alice, the girl who shrank (but also grew far too awfully large) and went to Wonderland. You can also meet the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the grinning Cheshire cat (who guards the way to the Queen of Heart’s Castle) and of course the Queen of Hearts who likes to play croquet (so do I)! This book has also got another Lewis Carroll story in it and it has a very funny poem in it… I personally would have called ‘Wonderland’ a different name – probably ‘Fun-but-StrangeLand’ or ‘Crazyworld’ or something like that but Mr Carroll must have done it to interest the reader and to make them think the book is very exciting – it thought it was quite exciting indeed and would definitely, without a doubt rate the brilliant book 8/ 10; 8 – 12 year olds would enjoy it.
