Sam is a little boy whose parents got divorced and ever since life has not been the same for him, his dad and his dog, Delilah. Every morning, his dad is saying that the canine has to go and every morning, when he says that, the lump in Sam’s throat gets bigger and bigger and bigger. One day, Sam decides that he will run away and earn money by doing a paper round. Will there be another solution to all the havoc that the big dog is causing?

I would definitely rate this book, which is so good it is now among my favourite books, 10/ 10 and would recommend it to children of all ages.

If your parents are divorced I guess it might be upsetting but remember it is never ever your fault no matter what anyone says.
