As a kid i had my own mythological,mystical and polatical heros. Probably one publication which satited my hunger was Amar
chitra katha. Who can forget the vived pictures and a wonderful presentation of the publications of various heros of mythology, freedom fighters and other comical heros like Abhimanyu, Ram, Bagat singh, Rana pratap singh, Akbar,.... and many more. The other feature being that since it is a comic, even children who have not yet learned to read can also follow the story. It is true! personally i was a great fan of Ramayan and spent hours seeing the pictures as a toddler! I heard that the publication had got in to some financial crisis. Luckily, for the kids it is back. It is a must read series for all children. Happy reading.
