Internet is the in thing. Till about twenty years ago, children studying in the schools and colleges had never heard of
the
internet, now which has become a sort of rage with many. Most of the school going children love ‘
chatting’ on net. They find the activity which I call as useless and waste of time to be very amusing as well as entertaining. It is that they are attracted towards the opposite sex like a bee to a flower.
I can bet, you wouldn’t find even a single child in the school who hasn’t heard of internet. Interestingly they make most use of it, rather on regular basis and some of them have even access to it at their homes as net has become more economical now-a days.
“The ‘Net’ in Internet actually stands for network, my son says so! “Dad I can download your favourite songs of yesterdays and olden melodies if you say so!” I still find the activity of gluing to net a sheer waste.
Rather he enjoys using net, to communicate with friends and family. He can access information through web pages that are pertaining to his syllabus and project works given as holiday home works.
I caution him as always and tell that the internet is a giant bulletin board that the whole world uses! But you have to be cautious as you follow your wit and judgment and little common sense while using it. It is just because you never know the source of information posted on net or even correct or incorrect, for a particular matter! He simply nods in appreciation of little knowledge I have about net.
