Annerton Pit

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Peter Dickinson
In search of their grandfather who has disappeared while tracking down ghosts, two brothers, one blind, stumble upon a headquarters
of subversive revolutionary activity in an abandoned mine. Their investigations take them to Annerton Pit, where they discover a potential hazard far worse than any ghost. This book is a little bit frightening and not suitable for young children. The age group I would recommend this book to is 11 – 14 year olds because it is not the most pleasant of stories but it is still a good read. Warning: I would not read this book after dark, it could huant you for the rest of the life (possibly). This book is rated 8/ 10 by me.
