Did you know… that your brain has 14 billion neurones in your brain which if chained together would be 356,344
kilometres which is far enough to go to the moon! Each neurone has 25,000 nerve cells – so how many nerve cells in your brain? That will work your brain – answer below.
Did you know… that the brain is split in two – by a deep line, but only the cerebrum (which is approximately four fifths). There is also a little brain which is small and sits underneath the cerebrum and is around a tenth of the size of the giant above it.
Did you know… the brain weighs 1.5 kilograms (about the weight of a bag of sugar) but it does not actually depend on how clever you are but the amount of brain cells you have does help.
You didn’t; well you can find other great facts in the book.
