This book is fantastic. It is funny, educational and keeps kids away from the telly. Judy goes to Boston one day with her
family to learn about the American Revolution. There, she meets a British girl there who has lots of her own things and she is very independent. Judy embarks on a quest to have liberty. A real-life crisis gives Judy a chance to prove her independence, once and for all. Will she be allowed for freedom from brushing her hair or the liberty of having her own bathroom (and wash cloth)? Will she be able to get pounds for allowances instead of a few pennies? So far her parents say she is not responsible enough but will she be able show them she is?
