This book is very good because there are lots of activities you could do that are based on this book. You can do these things
with your young kids (which I would advise is more sensible). Some activities you can do include role playing how to look after a pet, singing songs about pets and using pretend doctor play items and stuffed animal pets to set up an imaginary vet clinic for pets. There are other activities listed at the end of the book. There is also a list of questions about each page that you can ask the children. The book has brief information about most kinds of pets as well as pictures of odd pets. There are a few games to play throughout the book.
