Foul Football

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Michael Coleman

First there was foul foot-balle – mad matches without rules using a blown up pig’s bladder. After that
came the crazy Cambridge rules – but even the worst foul was not punished with a penalty. Now football is played all over the world and is known as the beautiful game but foul things still do happen! Find out about deadly defenders and mad midfielders as well as amazing attackers and gruesome goalies. In the book is a load of information, not boring like most non-fiction books, but lots of fun with quizzes, a few games and lots of timelines to liven things up. The illustrations are great and help to show what the context is about.
