Have you watched the movie ‘The Red Shoes’? Do you know who wrote it? Well the answer is that it was written by none other
than Hans Christian Anderson. The story is about a little poor girl called Karen who gets some red shoes the day her mother is buried. The shoes are not the most beautiful and are a bit clumsy but the little girl loves them because she usually runs round in bear feet. On the same day, an old lady, who is a queen, wants to adopt her and Karen thinks it is because of the shoes but the old lady hates the shoes and gets them burned. One day after a few years, she gets some lovely new Moroccan shoes which just so happen to be red and the girl loves these a lot more than the other scruffy pair from the old shoemaker.
