Apple Farmer Annie is a great book for preschool story times. It has bright and colorful illustrations and the pages each
have a border that goes with the text. It starts with explaining how Annie is an apple farmer and how she has an orchard or apple trees. It tells about how in the fall, she picks baskets of
apples. The book then goes on to describe what she uses the apples for. For example apple cider, applesauce, muffins cakes and pies. She also takes some to a farmers market to sell. It talks about her drive to the city and the border shows road signs she would see along the way. She sets up her stand at the Farmers Market and sells lots of apples to her customers. At the end of the book Annie is tired, but happy with her apple farm. the book also has recipes at the back of the book.
