There’s not much someone can say about
Beatrix Potter’s “Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit” without giving the whole plot away.
It is a very small book and best for younger children, although a little bit frightening at times (which once again means often since it is such a tiny story). I suggest also that no child submit it as the subject of a book report in school as my older sister found out many years ago.
Once again, what makes it
different, as is the case with all of Potter’s work, is her beautiful artwork. It also has a very good moral to it where this fierce bad rabbit gets its comeuppance in the end; quite literally.
