Farewell Address
On the eve of transfer of Sri-D.S.Lal, R.T.O.
GORAKHPUR At this hour
of separation,our hearts are heavy and we have no words to express our
gratitude to you ,Sri-D.S.Lal, our respected superior and our beloved friend.
Lal Saheb, you are a ‘Prince Among Men’ and a ‘Jewel Among Officers’. Your magnamity is matchless. You are so full of the milk of human kindness that you never harm any one whosoever, he might be. You treat all men as men;without prejudice and without discrimination,and this is the most remarkable feature of your unique personality.You maintain no airs and this is the secret of your popularity. Whether in or outside office, any one who comes in contact with you is bound to feel your impress. Your sublimity is a perennial source of inspiration and we hope it will bring us still closer to your Godly being.
W can not venture to shower compliments upon you because we are only pigmies ,before your great stature.We are just trying to express our gratefulness to you and we do not know how and what to say.
We believe, you will always oblige us with your enlightened approach and for our part we pray let nature bestow upon you ,all the bliss and bounty in her treasure and grant you more success in life.
So, once again,I on my behalf, and on behalf of my friends; express our gratitude to you, our dearest ‘LAL’, our benevolent friend, our Messiah.
This region will always remember you.
