Make Your Own Pirate Ship

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Clare Beaton
Clare Beaton has written this book and illustrated which has been accompanied with Louise Millar’s design for this fascinating
book about PIRATES! With eight colourful pages with facts on pirate life and a simple glossary of pirate words (like ‘landlubbers’ and ‘Crow’s Nest’) and thirty-two figures to colour in and cut out. With step by step instructions for making a treasure chests, descriptions on four useful knots used by the buccaneers and a template and instructions for making a pirate flag – the Jolly Roger – this book is perfect for any little pirate! There is even a pop-up pirate ship scene so all the figures can be used to act out a fight – lots of fun for every little boy!
This is beautiful to give as a gift to a boy (or even a girl) and is not expensive at only £4.99!
