Wind in the Willows Part 9/20: Home Sweet Home

Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Kenneth Grahame
This book is very sweet and shows what home really is: Mole’s home was shabby, poorly furnished and small but it was the
place he couldn’t wait to return to after a day of hard work – until he went to the River so very long ago…
I love how heartening Rat was about Mole’s house when Mole was feeling sorry for dragging Rat to his cold, dusty, foodless house whereas Rat could have been at his own house where is was home and there was plenty of food…
This proves your home does not need to be a big mansion, it could be a small terraced house but it was where you truly belonged…
