First, I want you to close your eyes and
imagine that you are a teenager. Now, I want you to imagine you are a teenager in
a day where just about everyone disappears into thin air. This is what Left Behind the Kids Series is all about. Four teenagers Vicki, Ryan, Lionel, and Judd find themselves in a world where almost everyone around them has disappeared. This series is about the end times when God raptures the people and the trials the ones that are left behind have to face. They find themselves battling evil trying to just stay alive. In the books, the four teenagers must join with others to battle this evil. The teens meet up with a man named Bruce who try’s to lead them and teach them about the things in the days ahead and about who God is. Jerry B. Jenkins does an
excellent job portraying the emotions and truths about the end times. These are excellent books for children around the age of ten or eleven. The books show them what the end will be like and teaches them about who God is. When I first sat down and started to read the first book in this series I was amazed. I absolutely could not put it down. The books held my attention keeping me on the edge of my seat as I read them one by one. Now that I have read most of the books in this series, I have to ask myself one question. Is there anyway anyone could read these books and not believe in God. The answer in my mind is no. Jerry B. Jenkins tells these stories in a way that there is no possible way to deny God's existence. If you want you can even grab your Bible and read Revelations before you read these books and you will see how true the stories are. These books are also available on tape.
