The Naughtiest Girl In School
Elizabeth is a very very naughty little girl.She is always playing pranks on her governesses and so none of them
stay for long.Her parents are always traveling to different countries while she stays back with a governess.But because none of the governesses are willing to stay with the naughty girl,her parents decide to send her away to boarding school.
Elizabeth makes a big hue and cry and refuses to go away to school but no one listens to her and she has to go.
When she arrives at the school she tries her best to be at her worst behaviour with the teachers as well as the students.Her main aim is to be sent back home as soon as possible.Because of her behaviour she earns the title of "The naughtiest girl in school".But in the course of the story she ends up helping Jane,a little girl who has a very sad family life and no friends at school.Elizabeth befriends this timid and meek girl and stands up for her every time.They end up becoming the best of friends.
By the time half term comes Elizabeth has made quite a few friends.She helps in the school garden,plays the piano,enjoys horse riding and is very very good at her studies.When her mother comes to meet her at half term she is a completely different person.The school leaves it up to her to decide if she wants to go home,or stay on at the school.Dear little Elizabeth decides to stay on and makes it possible for Enid Blyton to write a wonderful series of books on her adventures at school.
